We have been retained by a very reputed multinational Coal & Minerals group (part of a global multination group ) to recruit a senior Level Project Director for a mega project involving a coal mine, port, and rail track at Kalimantan. The candidate wilt overall be responsible for coal project / operations over 38 Million tons per annum.

PROJECT DIRECTOR COAL MINE
(KALIMANTAN, INDONESIA)

The candidate must have around 15 to 20 years experience in all aspects of coal mining and leadership of large size projects of minimum size of 10 Million tons per annum. Qualifications in Mining Engineering with hands on experience in developing a green field mining project is essential.

He will need to-strategize, plan and implement modalities for obtaining different clearances/approvals for mining project viz., Mining Plan/Mining Lease/Forestry/ Environment/Power Supply/ Water Drawal and other statutory clearances etc., from various agencies. Manage cross-functional teams for production, Supply Chain, Finance and Liaison.

Overall responsible for, all facets of the mining viz, planning, structuring, RFQ/RFP preparation, Selection of mining contractor through International competitive bidding process (or appropriate process of selection). Technical guidance for preparation of Feasibility/Project Reports/ Environment Management Plans/Forest Diversion Proposals for Mining.

Responsible for complete design, monitoring and successful commissioning of the mining project.

Making presentations/ notes to Company Board for capital sanctions/status review & Committee meetings for Mining Plan/Environment clearance.

Strategize, develop and Implement Production Planning & Control, Process Planning, and Vendor Development and Overall Management of operational mine operations.

Planning, guiding and controlling the production based on order forecasts and ensured timely order fulfillment

Strategize expansion plan and feasibility analysis for such expansion for commercial viability

Work closely with Technical services team for product development in terms of commercial viability & quality and strategize and Implement to produce targeted product.
